Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Plain-language summary: We collect the minimum needed to run your account and your dedicated streaming server — your Google name/email to sign you in, your subscription status from PayPal (never your card number), and the stream configuration you type in yourself (your destination — Kick, Twitch, YouTube, or similar — and your ingest URL). We don't run analytics or ad trackers on this site, and we don't sell your data to anyone.

1. Who we are

irestream ("irestream", "we", "us") operates irestream.com, relay.irestream.com, and srtla.irestream.com (together, the "Service") — a self-serve dedicated cloud streaming product for live streamers. This policy explains what we collect through the Service and what we do with it.

Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to wappyflanker@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Account information (via Google Sign-In)

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, whether your email is verified, and your Google account ID. We only request the standard openid, email, and profile scopes — we never request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts, or anything else in your Google account.

Billing information (via PayPal)

Subscriptions are handled entirely by PayPal. We never see or store your card number, bank details, or other payment credentials — that information stays with PayPal. What we store on our side is limited to your PayPal subscription ID, its status (active, canceled, etc.), your current billing period end date, and, if you're ever refunded, a reference to that PayPal transaction.

Your server configuration

To run your dedicated streaming server, we store the settings you provide through your dashboard:

What we don't collect

We don't run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking scripts on our sites. We don't log or store your personal IP address against your account. We don't use cookies for tracking or advertising — only the essential session cookie described below.

3. Cookies

We use one first-party, essential cookie to keep you signed in (and, separately, one for staff admin access). These cookies are httpOnly (not readable by page scripts) and are used solely to recognize your logged-in session — never for tracking, advertising, or analytics. Your session cookie expires automatically after 30 days of being issued.

Two outside services may set their own cookies, under their own privacy policies, only when you use them: Google, when you choose "Sign in with Google", and PayPal, whose checkout loads only when you pick a plan. We don't receive or read those cookies. Because we use no tracking or advertising cookies, there is nothing to opt in to or out of, so the site doesn't show a cookie banner.

4. How we use your information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Who we share information with

Third partyWhat they receive / why
GoogleHandles sign-in; we receive your name, email, and account ID back from them.
PayPalHandles all billing and payment processing; we never see your card details.
VultrHosts the individual dedicated relay server created for your account, and our public websites irestream.com and clips.irestream.com. For your relay server, Vultr receives only what's needed to create and run it (no billing or personal account data beyond what's required to stand up the server). For the websites, it handles the requests your browser makes, like any web host.
HetznerHosts relay.irestream.com (the dashboard and the system that manages relay servers), plus some relay servers created before October 2026. It receives only what's needed to run those servers.
Your destination platformNot an integration we control — you paste your own stream destination (Kick, Twitch, YouTube, or similar) into your dashboard, and your server pushes your stream directly there, the same as if you'd typed it into OBS yourself. We don't otherwise talk to that platform's systems on your behalf.

We do not use any analytics, advertising, or data-broker services, so there is no one else in this list.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and server configuration data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your dedicated server is destroyed at the end of your billing period, but your account records (billing history, saved configuration) are retained afterward in case you resubscribe or for our own recordkeeping.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing wappyflanker@gmail.com. We'll delete your stored data (account record, saved server configuration, encrypted credentials) within 30 days of a verified request, except where we're required to keep limited billing records for legal or accounting purposes.

7. Security

Sensitive values — your stream destination key and similar credentials — are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and are never logged in plain text. Your session is authenticated via a secure, httpOnly cookie. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard steps to protect your information.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
